Trump preparing for second government shutdown
President Donald Trump is set up to close down the administration again or proclaim a national crisis if Congress won’t work with him to anchor the US-Mexico fringe, the White House said.
The president’s standoff with Democrats on Capitol Hill is a long way from being done and the clock is ticking — the spending charge Trump marked on Friday supports the administration offices that had been closed down just until Feb 15.

“What he needs to do is fix this how things should get settled with our administration which is through enactment,” Mulvaney said.
The record 35-day government shutdown finished when Trump surrendered to mounting weight, withdrawing from his interest that Congress submit $5.7 billion for US-Mexico outskirt divider before bureaucratic organizations could continue work. The bill he marked did not give the cash Trump needed to a boundary, which Pelosi has called “indecent” and has demanded Congress won’t back.
